Nottingham Castle Open Exhibition 2013

I am very pleased that two of my prints have been selected for this year's Nottingham Castle Open Exhibition and this year all of the 31 artists are eligible for the prizes that are being awarded.

My two prints that were chosen were two of blind embossings that were inspired by the Geological collection at Shrewsbury Museum, ''Brain Coral' and 'Tree Fossil' :

Here they are in the gallery - see if you can spot them! I feel very honoured to be showing my work in such a great setting.  The gallery photos have been taken by professional photographer John Hartley for the Nottingham Castle Open Exhibition 2013.
The exhibition runs from 12th October to 10th November 2013.

Congratulations! I do admire these embossings, with such appropriate subjects for the technique too.
