Snowdrop walk, Attingham Park

A couple of weeks ago we took a walk out at Attingham Park, one of the best places in Shropshire to see the beautiful snowdrops at this time of year.  On a slight detour off one of the paths we found this lovely little bird watching hut:

Best of all was watching the light change to a stunning rose tinted shade as the sun started to set and its reflection in the swollen, flooded river:

Sumptuous! There are so many places of different beauties through the seasons on these isles.

Thank you for this Jacqui, we're having a bit of a heatwave (hopefully our last), so it's lovely to see some snowdrops and cool English countryside...

Olga - yes there are and I would wish that it all stay unspoilt.

Elizabeth - glad you have enjoyed seeing a bit of the English countryside although we have had so much rain just lately it has been quite unbelievable - I wouldn't say no to a little but of sunshine.
