Impression - The Gallery, Masham

On the way home from a holiday in North Yorkshire I called in at The Gallery in Masham. I had already bookmarked to visit this gallery when I was up in North Yorkshire and was very glad I did, especially as it was a rainy day.

The Gallery is in the square at Masham and contains high-quality contemporary art from established and emerging British artists. These are some photos from their latest print exhibition Impression:

The exhibition features the work of printers:

Hester Cox - collagraphs and solarplate

Janis Goodman - etching and aquatint

Helen Peyton - reduction cut lino prints

Angie Rogers - woodcuts

Catherine Sutcliffe-Fuller - etching combined with linocut

If you are 'passing' I would really recommend stopping by as there are some beautiful original prints by very talented printmakers. Unfortunately you only have until the 15th August to do so.
