Lino printing, blind embossing, making journals workshop at Birmingham Printmakers


Earlier in the summer I ran a print workshop at Birmingham Printmakers which started with designing and carving a lino block which was then used to print with:







Then the lino blocks were used for blind embossing:





Finally made into journals to take home:









I shall be running another two of these workshops at Birmingham Printmakers on Saturday 24th September or Saturday 19th November. Looks like a great class! Just found your blog and am subscribing. Great work. Question - Do you run the lino through a press to get such great embossing? Happy day!
